During the first call with HR, they asked me some general questions about what path I am interested in. Eventually they scheduled a meeting with that specific department (Team 1). Interview went well, they assured me that they had plenty of graduation assignments ready for interns. However, they called me back some days later and told me that there were none available and that I should request HR to schedule a meeting with Team 2. Eventually this team pointed out that Team 1 should know more about graduation assignments and that they (Team 2) don't do internships. This process was very chaotic and unstructured, so I decided to end it there and seek new internship opportunities elsewhere. Later, I heard that other candidates got accepted, who applied later for the same exact internship I applied for, which is very interesting due to the fact that they told me that there were none available.
