Was referred by a friend, had a preliminary phone interview of about 5 minutes discussing salary and setting a time for in person interview, had a very thorough, engaging interview with the department manager, and was offered a job that same evening.

Group interview. Panel was a Department Manager and Supervisor. It was my very first group interview. I was actually pleased with the way group interviews are conducted. They will ask the same question to more than one person, you must be prepared to answer the same question in a different way. You definetly have to have done your reaserch on the company before the interview.
