A recruiter reached out to me via InMail on Linkedin, offering an interview and requesting my CV. I shared the file, we talked about the role and agreed on a time for the interview. At the time, I attended the Teams meeting and no one showed up. I stayed until the last minute in the waiting room. Only email messages were responded days later to me by the recruiter's supervisor. The interview was never rescheduled and the original recruiter completely ghosted me, never bothering to the InMail messages. It was a waste of time and a terrible experience. Turns out, I think it was good to see how they deal with people before any conversation advanced.

The interviewer was fine. Had a phone call with the recruiter who appeared to be a new hire (most of them appear to be). It seemed to go well and she asked basic questions and seemed upfront about the job. The second part is a CCAT test which is fairly difficult as well as a personality assessment. Before investing too much time, please be aware of the fact that just months ago, Solera laid off hundreds of employees and that many companies under the “Vista Equity” umbrella are engaged in lawsuits with each other. Several in the portfolio were purchased being hundreds of millions of dollars in debt. This is a giant, messy global corporation that operates in a volatile industry with a history of brutally cutting ties with their executives and employees. Only saying the interview process is difficult because many folks will be desperate and invest their time and money into preparing for the CCAT. Having been in the industry for years and knowing that employees are treated as a variable cost here, I was happy to move on to the next opportunity.
