I was contacted by the company who encouraged me to apply for a full-time position. I went through the entire interview process (4 interviews) that had gone rather well. At the last interview, I was told the position was now going to be part-time for six months to be determined if it would turn into a full-time position. Had they told me this in the beginning, I would not have continued the month-long interview process where I could have spent my time applying and interviewing for an actual full-time position.
