The process to set up an interview was easy and very very casual. I received a lot of communication beforehand, mostly via text. It was a recruiter. What threw me off from this company was the professionalism. Within 5 minutes of the interview, one of the interviewers informed me they usually don't hire people my age for a role like this because we end up leaving. I wasn't exactly sure how to respond to this, besides that as a former recruiter, it was inappropriate. There was a few other comments I felt uncomfortable with, including the way they talked about other team members. I was looking forward to the job itself, but after that interview I wasn't sure. On top of likely not getting the job due to my age, they couldn't take the time to tell me they didn't select me. They are more likely to reply to this review.
