      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite l'università. La procedura ha richiesto 3 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso SpaceX nel mese di gen 2013

      Colloquio

First spoke to recruiters at campus career fair in mid-October. Contacted for a phone interview in early November and had two phone interviews that same week. Both were brief, one just went over my resume and the second one was a 15-minute technical interview with very basic mechanical questions. After some back-and-forth I was contacted for an on-site interview in mid-December and they flew me out to LA the first week of January. For the on-site interview I had to give a presentation on a project I'd worked on, to about 6-7 people. Two of them were the ones I'd interviewed with on the phone, and the rest were other engineers. Everyone was very young, and it's a very casual environment. After the presentation and a Q&A session each person interviewed me individually for about half an hour. I spoke with a range of engineers, from materials to manufacturing. None of the interviews were particularly difficult, most of them just had me elaborate on my resume. Very few, if any, STAR questions. Towards the end they brought out the technical questions again. Overall, some interviews seemed very rushed, as people are apparently very busy, but no major complaints. They called me a week later to say that I didn't get it.
