The absolute most unprofessional experience Ive ever had with a company. I was initially very excited about being contacted to interview with Space X. The recruiter emailed me and set a time and date in which to contact me. I accepted and took time out of my schedule to accommodate it. The time for the interview came and received no call from the recruiter. I sent out an email to the recruiter to see if she needed to reschedule and heard nothing. Then surprisingly 10 days later I get an email and a voicemail from the same recruiter stating they needed to talk to me that day for the position. I received no apology from the recruiter about being completely ghosted and she tried to act as though it didn't happen at all. I had to bring up to incident myself, to which the reply was: "Oh, I'm just really bad at time management." Then she tried to proceed as if I should be glad just to be called at all. Needless to say at this point, I no longer had any interest in the role or the company. Recruiters are your first point of contact with a company and this did not make feel good about what I would possibly be walking into. It's a shame because this completely ruined my impression of SpaceX and any excitement I once had for wanting to work for them.
