I first had a 10-minute phone interview and was invited for an in-person interview at the Embassy a week later. Due to university exams, I had to postpone the interview for a couple of weeks, they were very helpful and flexible! The face to face interview was not too difficult and the interviewer was incredibly nice. This second interview lasted around 1 hour.

The most unexpected question was regarding a previous internship I had undertaken, the interviewer asked me "how I had managed to land that competitive role" - I didn't really know what to reply.
The first question was "Tell us a bit about yourself". Then the interviewer asked me how the skills I have acquired during degree and past professional experiences would help me for this role.
I also asked a number of theoretical questions regarding the bilateral relations between the UK and Spain, and then one question to test my knowledge of the current Brexit situation. I also had a couple of basic questions to test my level of English.
