      Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Spartan Controls

      Sketchy. Questions included stuff like "What does 'an entrepreneurial spirit' mean to you?" and a hypothetical scenario about getting an urgent call from a client at 4:55pm on the Friday before you've booked a camping trip with your family. Got to the end when I was asked if I had any questions, asked roughly what the ratio of time in the office vs out of town and they responded "Anywhere between 0 to 100%." Tried again with "How much time, on average, did the previous person in this role spend out of town?" Got the same answer. I also asked about compensation; Spartan pays a very low hourly rate but does profit sharing that's supposed to make up for it. They refused to give even a very approximate range for either the hourly rate or the amount of the profit sharing. In all, they were very evasive, asked a lot of BS touchy-feely questions for what should've been a highly technical position, and seemed to expect a hire to prioritise the job over their personal lives and families. A couple years later I ended up working with the fella who'd vacated that position at Spartan and he told me you couldn't pay him enough to go back.
