I was called at 7:35 PM for a phone screen. This was UNSCHEDULED. The interviewer asked about my email marketing, social media, and website experience. She also asked me about a salary range. She offered nothing about the company but asked if I would like to interview in person the following week and offered two days. I couldn't do both of those days. I offered an alternative day was met with a curt reply in the negative. Then, the interviewer offered her phone number with a "call me should you become available," and we both hung up. I immediately dug through my emails establishing when I applied. I applied for this position on October 22 via Indeed. I received a generic "thanks but no thanks" response on November 2. Now, I have an impromptu phone screen in December late at night, and the interviewer spun it like I applied recently. Unbelievable. Either I was scammed or they are seriously not organized. I regret answering the phone. Avoid.
