Got to 3rd stage. Met the engineers, but very strange experience. Questions about how to handle bullies, how to detect burnout, and how you identify “rock stars”. Three red flags just off the bat. Never mind the CEO is also the CTO which to most engineers from the startup scene would be sufficient warning in itself. One of the engineers doing the interview seemed depressed but critical…probably heading to burnout. I pretty much knew it was dead in the waters but tried my best.
