      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Spectrio (Tampa, FL)

      Colloquio

I had an awesome screening experience. The second interview was with two managers of the technical support department. The interview was dry and awkward. One of the interviewers was late and neither of the interviewers seemed like they wanted to be there; they seemed to be responding to emails or chats while "interviewing" me. They barely told me anything about the role or ask me any questions. I got the feeling they just wanted me to sell myself by performing and leading the interview like a good monkey. Sorry—I'm applying for tech support, not sales. I found William Dunn particularly rude. The little he did tell me about the role included "once you're out of training, you're on your own", in a harsh tone. I'm currently working a tech support role and know this is the biggest red flag of a toxic tech support work environment. During the interview process I reached out to a current employee via linkedin and he let me know how downhill his department has been going and I learned they were offering me several dollars less than what other tech support agents had been offered in the past. And this was a rate that was given to me even before scheduling the initial screening. Once I learned they use PowerShell, I immediately knew this role is significantly underpaid. Nasty company with nasty practices. It's a shame considering they have an awesome line of products. I did not receive the offer but even if I would have, that would have been a HARD pass.
