A recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn and told me to take his call because I applied for this job. I never applied but thought let's give this a shot. They pressured me to take a screening call while I was at work and the meeting lasted over an hour. Nearly got fired being away from my desk. Then a month goes by and they have me do a virtual meeting and then 2 weeks after that another interview. It's been 5 months since then and I haven't received a rejection email or any update. Fingers crossed lol. Also they are having layoffs in this division after insisting their department was layoff proof, a concern I shared during that process.
