Had an initial interview with HR, then an interview with the department head. After that I was asked to take a skill test and the next step was supposed to be in D.C. for presentations and more interviews. That's when COVID hit and my experience became extremely negative. Their initial response was that this process would certainly continue and they wanted the best experience for their fellows. They encouraged me to keep in touch frequently and to make sure not to discount their program and hoped I would keep them in consideration. I was very interested and attempted to check in with the HR person once a month, but unfortunately she started ghosting me and eventually their LinkedIn page posted the fellowship candidates without giving us any word. Technically, I still haven't been rejected from this position. This was a massive let down and has resulted in me thinking so much less of their company since it was quite disheartening to feel so close to a dream start to my career and then be ghosted from even a rejection. I've applied to other positions at Spectrum in the meantime and haven't heard anything at all. Really disappointing.
