The first round was a basic interview mainly focused on projects and fundamentals. The interviewer asked me to introduce myself and then moved directly to my academic and internship projects. I was asked to explain my main project in simple words, including the problem statement, objective, methodology, tools used, and what I learned from the project. They also asked why I selected this project and how it is useful in real industry applications. Some follow-up questions were asked from my project, like process flow, basic calculations, quality checks, and improvements done. Since I had mentioned Lean and Quality concepts, they asked basic questions related to Lean tools and quality assurance. The interviewer was more interested in clarity of understanding rather than deep theory. Basic technical knowledge and honest answers were enough. The overall experience was smooth and the interviewer was friendly.
