Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite segnalazione di un dipendente. La procedura ha richiesto più di una settimana. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Splunk (Tysons Corner, VA) nel mese di giu 2019
Colloquio
I was referred by a current employee of Splunk. I applied to the Customer Success Manager role on their website. I received a message through Jobvite and personal email asking when I was available to interview. I then received an email confirmation with the 2 days I would be phone screened by 3 different Splunk employees. The process was a smooth with 2 out of the 3 individuals, the most difficult part of the process was communication with 1 of the 3 due to their extremely busy schedule. The whole process was way different than I am use to since one of the interviewers had to reschedule several times to interview me due to his chaotic schedule. Overall the experience was fantastic and the process was great. I made it to the final stage and interviewed with the Director.

One particular question they asked me for the CSM position was, "What Splunk use case would I use with the system I am using currently at my job?"
Thank you so much for the great review! Coordinating interviews with busy schedules can get tricky. We appreciate your understanding and I'm glad to hear your overall experience was a positive one. I applied through the company's website and was invited for an interview two weeks later. The interview lasted around 40 minutes and consisted mainly of behavioral questions, which weren't particularly challenging.
However, after another two weeks of waiting, I received a rejection email stating, 'You are not in the country where the job is located, and the hiring manager wants to have someone local.' This was particularly frustrating as the job description had no mention of requiring local candidates. To add: I don't need working visa/work permit to work in that country, and was willing to relocate without asking for relocation package.
I feel my time was wasted – I spent effort tailoring my resume, preparing for the interview, and even took time off from my current job to attend it. I believe the geographical requirement should have been clearly stated in the job posting to respect candidates' time and effort.
This experience was disappointing and could have been easily avoided with transparent communication from the start.

Six interviews. One initial screen by recruiter, one interview with hiring manager, and at least three subsequent interviews with members of the team and the VP in charge of the business area.

Applied online and was sent a survey from a recruiter. I was asked answer questions through email that would typically be asked on a phone screen. Then sent a rejection email. There was no phone call with the recruiter.
