Short call with HR with general questions such as why I applied for the job and why I am suitable. Then a 3-4 hour video interview/assessment with two chief editors. They gave me 1 hour to read two manuscripts, then one hour of discussion with them (describing and explaining each figure and whether the results support the conclusions and other comments), following by another hour of reading the reviewer's comments and a further one hour discussion, ending with how I would respond taking into account the reviewer's comments. It was an interesting and intense interview as it was not my main subject area, but enjoyable overall.
