Found the job opening from Indeed but needs to apply via the SCB-Taleo for an opening for SCB GCS Malaysia opening. Was sold by their "valued behaviour" but both the Recruiter/HR I liaise with and the interviewer was not acting professionally. Right after submission of application, received an email from SCB to perform and submit a Behavioural Questionnaire. Not long after, received WhatsApp message from the Recruiter which acted quite rudely as if she's rushing to get it done with. Interview was okay but the interviewer should act more professionally and not give false response like "I think you're fit for the job" or "I will give you an update within a week, just contact the recruiter you liaise with for an update". Was invited to a virtual tech talk after that. 2 weeks after the interview (which is 1 week after they promised an update), I consulted the recruiter about the status (via both WhatsApp and email) but my messages was totally ignored. I contacted them again 1 week later where I was still totally ignored. It's really unprofessional behaviour to have ghosted an applicant especially when you promised to follow up with an update.
