Interviewers were friendly and questions were related to my previous experience. Mostly, I spoke freely, not many questions. I was not stressing at all. I was expecting questions about their project but it was mostly about my career interests and previous experience.

Technical interview with several members of the team I was interviewing for. This was followed by a 1-1 meeting with the PI who asked me standard behavioural questions. I gave a 30 minute long presentation before the technical interview, using a slideshow.

Typically for postdoc interviews, the candidate will be brought on site and give a talk to the whole lab, followed by 1:1 conversations with each lab member. The whole process can take a whole day. A lot of decision making comes from the presentation, especially the level of research the candidates conducted earlier.
