Bottom line was I was not hired. Their process apparently “improved” from a 8 hour final interview to a 4 hour interview. Throughout the interview I was told by all the team members that my interview was by far the smoothest, most polished, and to the point. After two weeks of hearing nothing, I followed up with the HR rep only to find out he no longer worked there. I did get a hold of the hiring manager and he let me know I was ultimately rejected for an internal candidate that had applied right after my interview. Overall impression: I wish I knew an internal candidate was applying. I know typically companies will hire within. No hard feelings for that.
