No HR call for an intro to SS or process. Was sent a time slot out of the blue and informed it’s the only one available. Role looked quite relevant so I didn’t push back and made time in my schedule. Interview was panel style - felt more like an interrogation than an open and transparent exchange. Lazy, scripted interview questions that were not thoughtful - overall very contrived. They could have really understood me better as a candidate but surprisingly did not probe on specific technical/hard skills central to the role. Half the panel looked uninterested with zero enthusiasm in understanding the candidates background and were clearly multitasking (you can tell when it’s genuine note-taking going on). In restrospect, I think I dodged a bullet with this one!
