The interview process itself was smooth; however, the company lacked transparency. After reaching the final stage—an on-site interview at their Hamburg office—I was told I would receive a contract offer within two days. Instead, there was complete silence for over a month, followed by a rejection. I would have appreciated a timely and direct response. Additionally, the compensation discussed during the in-person meeting was significantly below market standards in Germany and very much below my expectations (communicated to HR on the very first step): I considered this interview process a complete waste of my time.

False job advertisement alert! I applied for the Key Account Manager role on Linkedin and was invited to an interview about 5 days later. Halfway through the interview, the interviewer admitted the position is ACTUALLY a "Sales Manager" role. What a complete waste of my time it was, especially since they knew they could not meet my salary expectations either. The interviewer also asked a lot of personal questions, many of which I think are not legal. The interviewer didn't even have the courtesy of following up in a personal email and instead sent out an automated email. Very unprofessional!
