This was a very relaxed interview with my particular department head. They were very friendly and the whole process was casual. I think the interview process was more to tick a box than to actually screen candidates.

The interview was online and 30 minutes long. The main questions were based on postgrad work. Two Professors interviewed me and I heard back two weeks later and started the following month

The interview was for 30 minutes and was carried out online via Microsoft Teams. Two interviewers ask questions simultaneously. The questions bordered on how my Ph.D. research aligned well with the group's research goal.
