I was referred by a close friend whom the owner/operator/location manager had requested for me to come in for the interview. Once I walked in I proceeded to the checkout counter, not greeted, and waited a few moments to get the attention of an employee. Once I was approached, I asked for the manager by name and was told to have a seat and he would be with me shortly. As I sat and waited for approximately 5-10 minutes (mind you, there were maybe, maybe one or two guests seated eating, so the restaurant was no where near busy), a very young (20y/o), small male empty handed approached me and asked that we sit near the rear of the restaurant as he lead the way, I followed. We had a seat and he basically asked what hours I would be available and what experience I had. I was hired on the spot and returned within a day or two to begin training.
