For such a part-time job done remotely, they really make you do so much work before the interview even begins. You have to submit resume, cover letter, etc etc and then they ask you to complete an activity about hypothetical customers. Then, if you are asked to actually interview, they ask you to complete a Pinterest activity, styling for faux clients and writing notes to them. The interview was basically an hour over a video conferencing site where two very friendly stylist leads asked many questions, non pertaining really to who you are as a person or what your background or experience or even education level is, which is actually kind of insulting. They ask many questions about styling for your mock up clients with the pinterest activity and many, many questions about how you will schedule your time. Their company culture is all about community, but I really get the sense that all of the people that work there are just extremely fake. The interview went really well yet I somehow was not chosen to "move forward in the process" but they just re-posted ads for my city yesterday saying they are looking for candidates. Makes NO sense.
