      Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un'agenzia di reclutamento personale. La procedura ha richiesto 3 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso StoneX (Chicago, IL) nel mese di nov 2021

      Colloquio

      3rd Party Recruiters were awesome people who really pushed hard for a straightforward interview process. Unfortunately, the actual interviewers from the technical team I would have been on were mostly unprepared and the employees did not take me as a serious candidate. 1st Round - Screen with 3rd Party Recruiter = Good Experience! -- They made me feel like a good candidate and were very on top of their communications. 2nd Round - Initial Interview with Hiring Manager = Poor Experience -- Only 30 mins, he seemed very bored/tired/stressed from the start. His questions were very basic and did not demonstrate an interest in me as a candidate. No smile. No humor. I felt as if his mind had already been made up and I was a checkbox interview. Considering this was going to be my manager had I been hired, he was a red flag from the start and I wasn't feeling great about this company. 3rd Round - Technical Interview with Engineer = Good Experience -- She was very approachable, kind, and seemed genuinely interested in me as a candidate. Her questions were prepared and relevant for the role and straightforward. 4th Round - Upper Managment = Okay Experience -- The executive was late and barely asked anything. The VP was an interesting person but hardly asked anything about me and spent the rest of the meeting talking about themselves. They seemed like a good leader though. I am not sure if I left a good impression because I had very little opportunity to demonstrate my own knowledge in the meeting. Overall -- doesn't seem like a bad company, but their pay is far below market and I had to turn down the offer given to me. I would have had to take a 30k Pay cut to work here at a role with equal responsibilities to my current one in a similar industry.
