Long. 3 interviews but no follow up after each meeting just a request a couple weeks later to schedule another. I didn't hear back after the third interview until I accepted another job 3 months later

I was emailed to interview for a position in my city. I spent 2 days preparing and took time off from my current position only to get a call from the recruiter that the position i was interviewing for was filled already. They wanted to know if i was interested in relocating cities. I found the lack of communication to be very strange. A simple email would've been productive as i was super excited about the opportunity to even get the interview! Disappointing!
