Typical process. Had phone interview, and then interviews with various members of the team. Had a design interview. Background and experience interview. Coding interview. The process is pretty standard, and the interviewers were are all nice.

I was contacted by StyleSeat to do an interview in November of 2019. The process was straightforward - I spoke to a recruiter, then I moved onto a technical round. The technical round was a coding exercise, but one that was more tricky than actually technical. It was not straight-forward and was intentionally vague. Later, I got another email asking me to do another technical round. I asked why this was necessary. I was then told it was sent in error, and that they wouldn't be moving forward with my application as they had candidates farther along they were more interested in. 16 MONTHS LATER - I get an email saying they want to talk again. The person I interviewed with was "no longer with the company", and they hired nobody in 2020. In fact, the original position I interviewed for, nobody was ultimately hired. They had "reviewed the recording" of my interview (???) and wanted to talk again. Absolutely not. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time with this org.

Scheduled a call after some back and forth. The interviewer didn't seem to know what technology stack I would be using on the job, and what the future plan would be for their main product. I also asked some questions about the product, but some answers were vague.
