In 2022 if you can not answer a simple question as to how much your range is for a job then why bother?
An applicant has the right to ask before spending time getting prepared for an interview that probably won’t even meet their expectations.
I’m going to quote the response to asking for a salary range from this company’s recruiter.
“We don’t give out a salary range or discuss benefits unless we are going to move forward. Let me know if you would like to reschedule this interview.”
The expectation is that you to speak to 3 different people on first round on interview without knowing if the company meets your qualifications.
As the company’s recruiter you may not have been given but please bear in mind when applicants are giving interviews they are also interviewing your company culture. This makes a huge impact on an applicants decision. the rights to discuss a salary range but
If you can not respectfully answer my question then no thanks, I will not be rescheduling the interview.
