In my opinion, it would be better if interviews were scheduled on weekends to avoid such logistical issues. before the interview, they inquired about my salary expectations. Unfortunately, they later I get to know that they were declining my profile due to a hidden budget issue, citing that my qualifications did not match the role requirements. However, I had clearly outlined my skills and experience in my resume, so this explanation seemed unclear.
