The interviewer/head of the company showed up almost 20 minutes late to my interview. She asked some basic tell me about yourself questions, and then asked me to explain a math SAT question and a reading SAT question to her. The whole time I felt like I was being rushed because she had another interview to get to after mine and told me she was running behind. She didn't even give me a chance to ask questions at the end. I was offered the position, accepted it, and was told they were waiting on a background check for me before I could start tutoring. After about a month and a half, I was finally told the background check was cleared, but that I would have to wait until I got my first student, which could take up to two months. It's been a month and a half since I was told that and I still haven't heard anything. Apart from the initial offer I received, every single time I've gotten information from them has only been after I emailed them first. I feel exploited and used and would hate working for a company like this.
