The interview process was pretty simple and laid back. From start to finish it was a little of a week and half - two weeks before I was hired on. I filled out the the online application and took their knowledge quiz. If you have a basic knowledge of computers then it should be a breeze. After a few days I received and e-mail about setting up a phone interview. There wasn't much choice on when to interview, as only one slot was open. I was told to expect the interview to last about an hour. I took my weekend to study up on terms, and basic knowledge. I basically gave myself a crash course refresher. The interview basically lasted 15 minutes, and the questions were simple and non-technical. Most of the questions had to deal with if you can follow a flow chart, how to do handle an upset customer, what do you do if you need to transfer a customer, etc. The interview was also very adamant on the strict training schedule, that I would need to be available for 5 weeks straight. They also informed me of the hours I would be in training for. Later that day I received an e-mail wanting me to send in my specs again. I did that and I received an e-mail back saying i needed to fix two things.One my monitor res and I needed windows 7 ( I had since upgraded to 10). I fixed those two things, sent my specs in and even called and left a messaged. Within the hour I had an offer call which I accepted. So again the whole process was every easy and didn't take too long.

I applied online and immediately received an email asking me to set up an interview time. the next day I had a recruiter call me at home. He was very upbeat and friendly. He asked me questions like, "Name a time when you had to deal w/ an irate customer. How did you handle it?", "How would you tell someone who has never used the internet to connect their wifi?",'In your own words, what is great customer service?". I can't remember them all but I do know that he asked a lot of technical questions about the internet obviously. Also, you have to be in front of your WORK pc during the interview. He had me look up the weather in some other country and to google a few more things-mostly just questions that require you to do some research. When he was finished he said that he would be in touch. An hour or 2 later he called back and told me I had been selected. He gave me some basic info about training which takes 6 weeks to complete and you do get paid for it,$8.50 per hour. By the last 2 weeks of training, Nesting, we were taking live calls.
