Two exceptional leader/managers interviewed me. One had clearly more knowledge and expertise than the other in terms of management efficiencies, but the overall questions were to discover whether I had the fortitude to do the job. I was very willing to work, regardless of conditions and my first foray into the field was during a storm with another rep and we got soaked! His umbrella folded inside out and I laughed the way back to the office. It was with this attitude that I reviewed our first outing and clearly, they wanted someone positive and able to take any adversity.

The first thing I did was attend a career fair at SureWest. It explained the day to day expectations of the job to weed out those who would not be comfortable performing the duties expected. Then I was interviewed by the Direct Sales Manager. Basic interview questions and techniques that I cannot recall off the top of my head.
