      1. Premier entretien téléphonique avec le VP People 2. Case study à préparer chez moi en quelques jours puis à venir présenter au VP People 3. Rencontre avec le Market Expansion Director du Brésil 4. Rencontre avec la Head of Controlling and Accounting Les entretiens étaient bienveillants et très enrichissants, j'ai eu l'occasion de poser toutes mes questions afin d'avoir une vision claire et détaillée des attendues du poste.

      I have been contacted for this role by the VP People Experience. While I wasn’t looking specifically for a new role, I was interested to learn more about it as it seems interesting, and this is actually how the discussion was presented: discussing about the role and also my experience in this area. When I asked what was going to be the nature of the video call, and if I could know more about the role beyond its title, I had no answer about the type of call we were going to have (interview? networking discussion?) and I have been told that ´the job description was available online, I believe’. This is not professional in my opinion to ask the person who didn’t initiate the conversation to go and look for the description himself. I still accepted to go over a call, and at my biggest surprise it was mostly a one way discussion, and he seems very doubtful about my experience. The ´interview’ seemed very unprepared, and started a little late. While we evolve in a start up environment, it has never been proposed to me to use the ‘tu’ or the ´vous’ in French and the ´tu’ was directly chosen. I felt undermined in several ways while being questioned, generally it didn’t give me a good opinion of the company and neither to connect in the future to discuss of my field. I add that I never received a follow up message after our call, which confirmed my first opinion.
