      The process began with a pre-screening call with HR followed by 2 rounds of interviews. Although I wasn’t ultimately offered the position, I found the entire process to be highly professional. HR was especially friendly and transparent.

      The first interview is conducted by HR and focuses on basic topics such as your CV, background, and motivation. From the 2nd round onward, the interview structure and content probably depends on the hiring manager and the specific position.

      Not the typical interview process. I was delighted to have a regular conversation to know the hiring manager and learn the job in a semi formal way. The interviewer already reviewed my resume and only asked questions relating my experience to the position.

      1. The Entry-Level Interview - Conducted by the gate keeper, typically a HR Generalist, consists of blanket style questions that relate to most every interview. (Mid-Level difficulty) 2. The Technical Interview - Performed by your would-be manager and a technical subject matter expert, is meant to assess your thinking process and judge your industry knowledge and problem solving skills. (Moderately Difficult)

      3. The Kobayashi Maru - Conducted by a panel of Director level executives and/or a VP, this is a no-win scenario, or a solution that involves redefining the problem and testing one's character. You have 30 minutes to build a project that will go awry then work through the scenario with simulated questions that an angry or upset customer will ask about. You build the project plan in front of the interviewers, assign resources, work-out schedules, etc; PMI style planning then you go through the panel one question at a time. The whole evolution takes 2 hours or so and at the end as long as you don't quit you are graded against others that made it through similar interviews. The key is not to quit. Never say die, no matter how scary.
