First, I had a conversation where we discussed my background and work experience. Then, they sent me a link to review some code. The code was really poor. They also asked me to create my own version of the code and send it back. It was a simple task, so I completed it quickly and sent it later same day. They mentioned they would provide feedback after the weekend. One week after my submission, I received an email stating they would not be continuing with the interview process. They also included some comments on both the code I reviewed and the code I wrote. For the code I reviewed, it seems they had a specific expectation for how feedback should be given. Their comments focused solely on the format of my feedback, rather than its accuracy or completeness. As for the code I wrote, they provided comments, but some were inaccurate. Additionally, they expected me to add functionality based on assumptions I was expected to make and none of that were not mentioned in the task description. The only comment I cannot argue was regarding a log message that I forgot to update. I would not recommend them to anyone, and my suggestion to them is to actively work on improving their interview process and the individuals involved in it.

The hiring process lasted a month and included three steps: a chat with HR, and a home assessment task, followed by a dialogue with the team lead. Unfortunately, the experience was not positive. The information conveyed by HR about the recruitment steps was misleading. The assessment was asked to be completed before an actual conversation with the team lead, so in case there is no connection you just waste your time on some very trivial and annoying task with JSON parsing. The interaction with the team lead was unexpectedly confusing. She appeared to adopt a passive role throughout the interview, drawing unconventional inferences from my statements and attempting to extend these to completely unrelated topics, which was puzzling, especially considering having an education in CS. In the end, I got feedback through HR that contained absolutely the opposite of my words which confirmed my impression that the team leader heard what she wanted to hear not what you said. I would like to recommend first talking with the team members before you spend any time on the company and carefully revising everything that you said and their conclusions from your words.
