I applied online; they showed interest in my portfolio right away. I had a phone screen with the UX Designer and felt I did pretty well. In a few days from the phone screen, they scheduled me to come into the office for an interview. I dressed professionally and showed them more examples of work, both print and web, compared to my online portfolio. I had 1:1's with 3 folks: a UX Designer, Software Engineer, and Marketing Director. The UX Designer asked tough questions (and insisted on having me answer questions about user experience, although the role I'd be hired for would be mostly layout/ad design). The Marketing Director gave me a good idea of their team's overarching goals. I didn't glean much at all from the Software Engineer and wasn't sure why I had to interview with him, once it was over. The following day after the interview, I got an immediate 'no' from them without much explanation. I was pretty disappointed, considering they had consistently shown a lot of enthusiasm in my application. Best of luck to them.
