Colloquio
I've had 3 interview processes with Synthesia at different times, the first two I was rejected and on the third one I got hired. My overall experience with the process is super positive, I've had the luck of encountering a Talent Acquisitor super pushy for me and my background/experience.
On the different stages I was prompted with real-world problems and normal questions about my past experience, nothing outside of the ordinary happened. Everyone I got to talk to were super friendly and had no issues on stopping mid-interview to answer some questions.
I'd say it's a difficult process because the company is great and people that work here is great too, but I'd also say that don't surrender on first try, approach with positive mindset and attitude.

Domanda 1
A typical one, tell me once you've faced a problem in your work/life and how you approached it.
The entire recruitment process at Synthesia was impressively straightforward and well-coordinated. There were no delays between stages, and the communication remained consistent throughout.
The process consisted of five distinct stages:
1. Recruiter Screening: A friendly introductory call to discuss the role and company culture.
2. Live Coding Interview: A technical session focused on problem-solving and clean code.
3. Systems Design Interview: A deep dive into architectural thinking and scalability.
4. Leadership Interview: Focused on soft skills, mentorship, and values alignment.
5. Hiring Manager Interview: A final conversation regarding team fit and long-term goals.

Colloquio
Had an introductory interview, no tech questions yet, seemingly went well, but never heard back. I would have expected since I took the time for that interview, to at least receive a one sentence email telling me they're not choosing to proceed.
