First interview was with HR. Second interview was with two managers; one was the accounting head. Was told that a decision would be made within two weeks despite there only being two candidates including myself. Did not hear back from them after 2.5 weeks so I called HR and found out that they were scrapping the internship program entirely. Was given a sincere apology, but my time had already been wasted.
