Multiple round interview process, 6 to 8 conversations over many months. My sense is there are good, smart people that work at the company, but may have been laid off or burned out from other more reputable, consulting firms and found a place at SEI for various reasons.
Most of the interviews lacked substance or structure, and it was difficult to adequately prepare, as many reviews state. By the time I got to the final round with the business case, it was difficult to take it seriously or dedicate much time or effort into the company. I went through it for the practice.
Employees are required to interview candidates so it makes sense for them to have a pipeline of candidates. They string along to meet their internal needs. It’s not hard to see.
I did not get a good feeling from one of the seasoned employees, but the newer employees seemed great.

The interview process is lengthy yet thorough. I was told by interviewers that I was getting to know them as much as they were getting to know me and it's true- there were no surprises from the interview process to the actual hiring and working at SEI.

Long! You encounter inconsistent individual preferences. 6-9 individual interviews. Always one hard hitter that doesn’t have a lot of personality. One objection by a single individual will end the entire process.
