First stage is a typical online assessment judging your situational skills, was then phoned and invited to an interview in store. Interview was a mainly casual chat, getting to know you and your availability. Wanted you to know about the brand and how they compare to competitors, Argos was mentioned by my interviewer. Questions I recall were tell me about a time when: you worked in a team, how you overcame a setback/obstacle, dealt with a difficult customer. Interviewer worked through a booklet of questions, often questions overlapped. I received an offer 2-3 days later. I declined the offer, experience wasn’t overly positive - interviewer kept emphasising how hard the job was, something I found a little odd.
