Any sort of leadership positions are now for internal candidates only. Interviews for Retail Store Manager are a two-step process. The first step is with the District Manager and their peers. If you pass the first process, the second step is with the Market Director. If you pass the second, you’re most likely receiving an offer.
The first interview is your standard set of interview questions. “Tell us about a time…” The second interview is more situational based and how you’ll run the business once given the position.
