Began with a telephone interview the proceed with an on-site interview. At the scheduled site, I couldn’t even find which building I was supposed to be at. My recruiter didn’t pick up the phone nor put in the email which building I was supposed to be at for the interview, so I had to as a current employee where I was supposed to be. So, I had a bad feeling, going into the interview. When I finally arrived at the building, I met wit one of the interviews and we toured the office. As we began sitting down for the interview, one of the interviewers tell me the other one was running late (which I thought was very unprofessional). So, we began the interview, the interviewer began talking about the company and the role, as the other interviewer strolled in, both interviewers began taking turns asking behavioral questions. The biggest issue with the entire interview was awkwardness within the interview itself. The interviewers would ask me questions, they already got the answer to. So, there were moments where they would expect me to answer, even though I already elaborated on it, which had me perplexed during the interview. In all the interview was easy, but I walked away from the interview with a bad vibe and terrible impression of the interviewers (because of the awkwardness). Wasn’t worried about not getting the job because, and knew I wouldn’t, based on the interview alone. Even though I am more than qualified for the position. I already accepted an offer to work for the federal government, so this was just for an experience. Great company, but don’t like the interview setup.

the interview was very quick. at the time I interviewed in early 2020, I had one phone screen and one in-person interview. they use the STAR method in the in-person interview.
