The role was posted online. It was a straightforward application process on the company's website. Specific sections for education and experience. It was a quick turn around of about 10 days from submitting the application to receiving an invitation for an interview.

A number of technical questions on linear regression and OLS. The basic concepts of OLS, proof that OLS is unbiased. There were a number of macro-economic questions, such as the impact on prices and exports following a rise in domestic interest rates, plus questions on quantitative easing and the liquidity trap. There were also a few financial derivative questions like, explain a CDS.

Mainly behavioural to assess how you would behave in a given situation. Testing your adaptability and appropriateness to the buisness. Also quantitative tests to assess your knowledge of the capital markets.
