Genuinely the most unprofessional interaction I have ever seen. The recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn via an Inmail and asked me if I was interested in the role providing a brief summary of the requirements. I politely said I was interested and requested the full job spec and estimated salary range to make sure we were aligned. The recruiter insisted I send her my CV and she would be happy to discuss the role and salary via a call. I sent my CV and received a call a few minutes later. I was asked why I was looking to move, which I answered and then she asked me what my salary expectations were. I provided her with an answer which was on the lower to mid range of salaries that I've been quoted and discussed with other companies for the same role that I am currently proceeding with. Without saying a word, the recruiter just hung up the call. This is so incredibly unprofessional and rude when a simple "I'm afraid that is not in our budget" would have sufficed. Needless to say that this presents TEKsystems in a terrible light. The disdain and lack of empathy to a potential hire was truly disgusting. Needless to say, I won't be proceeding here
