It was really bad. The panel or my interviewer was an Associate with less than 1.5 year of experience according to their LinkedIn profile. It was sad to see them interviewing a person of more than 5 years of experience as they themselves very little in the subject. I felt insulted at first but then felt bad for the employees too as they cannot sustain in the real-world competition. Asking basic questions like Define RLS, types of joins and it is clear that she is googling for questions. It felt like answering a fresher doubt clearing session rather than an interview. The worse was, me correcting her in the question asked and worst was getting declined on the grounds of field expertise. I wish the company takes the time of the applicants more seriously in knowing the real-time experience of the professional and assign a person who is qualified to conduct an interview rather than taking this as a platform for fake professionals with irrelevant experience giving textbook answers to hire. I now understand the reason why most MNCs do not prefer candidates from companies like TekSystems as they are not exposed to real time scenarios. I've come to know after interacting with their company employees from LinkedIn that they are facing a client shortage and have no projects, they have advised me to take this offer if placed and apply in an MNC for a hike in salary. These companies should do something seriously about this issue. PFA - My advise, you get a call from companies like TekSystems and TekLink, avoid for your own good as their offer is only useful for searching a better opportunity elsewhere use this as leverage.
