Best onboarding experience ever! Started with an enquiry call from HR, in which the HR explained me about the opportunity in the best possible way. There was one technical round (client) followed by HR discussion. Technical interview was awesome not just because I cleared it but because of the mindset of the interviewer as he was also focusing upon on trainability and attitude. Throughout the process I received remarkable guidance from the HR.
Long process, had to give hacker rank online test. Had a screening call, then a technical and then an online hacker rank test. Then a long wait time. Then an interview with the end client, which was simple.

I applied for a QA position in Japan on a whim, not expecting a callback. To my surprise, I got one and scheduled a second call with the Manager at 6 a.m. Upon waking up and joining the call, I discovered the interviewer was absent. The person from the prior interview informed me the position had been filled locally with criteria undisclosed earlier. What's frustrating is the selected candidate lacked experience. Overall, my experience was disappointing due to mixed signals: being deemed overqualified, told the job was mine, offered relocation support, only to later hear about new, unmentioned criteria and a preference for Japanese office experience.
