      Colloquio

      I had a screening call that lasted about 40 minutes, during which the recruiter asked basic questions like my work experience, how I would handle certain situations, examples of mistakes I’ve made, and how quickly I could join. After that, there was a ghosting period of about 10 days. Suddenly, the recruiter sent me a PEI survey, which I filled out. Following that, I received an email from the hiring manager for a second round of interviews, which lasted around 30 minutes. He asked about my previous work experience, behavioral questions, examples from my past related to the job description, and why I wanted to work there. He also inquired about my availability since they needed to finalize a candidate quickly. I felt the second round went well, and the recruiter seemed impressed. After that, the recruiter sent me an Excel file with some calculations to complete, which I returned the next day. I then booked a slot for the third panel interview, which lasted about 50 minutes and involved four people: a business analyst, the hiring manager, a consultant, and a senior manager. They each asked questions, and I got positive feedback from all of them. At the end of the third interview, the recruiter mentioned they would get back to me the following week with positive vibes. However, I received an email saying they decided to move forward with another candidate. When I asked for the reason for the rejection, I got a vague excuse that didn't make sense given my performance in the earlier rounds. While applying, I had read that this company tends to waste candidates' time and often hires internally, and after this experience, I can confirm that they did the same to me. I advise being cautious before applying and throughout the interview process. The entire process took 1 month.
