      Colloquio

      I completed the application and submitted it via email in the fall of 2017. The application was actually fun to complete as I got to tap into my creative side. I then spoke with the Director of Operations via phone followed by a second phone interview with the Director of Member Experience. We all agreed that the position I was interviewing for at that time, was not the right fit for my skill set. However, they wanted to keep my resume on file for future opportunities. I reconnected with them in December and came in for an in-person interview January 2018 with the Senior Vice President of Operations. The office is an open-concept with bright, vibrant colors and a more modern touch. The employees were all very friendly. I loved that there was music playing throughout the office which helped calm my nerves a bit. The interview process itself was very straight forward with a blend of typical questions/overview and unique ones. I felt that it was very interactive and that the management team was genuinely interested in getting to know me and make we were a mutual fit. I brought up the Glassdoor reviews during the interview process as I like to do my due diligence prior to making a career move. As I came to learn, the culture over the years has been a work in progress. I was glad that the executive team took it seriously to make sure I was a cultural fit prior to making an offer. What sold me on the company, was that they took the negative feedback posted here and started to make culture and work environment a top priority. After coming from a truly toxic work environment, I was relieved to see the team was taking a proactive stance to correct each issue that was brought to light. I have been here almost a month, have received a promotion and am still excited to be working here. I love the team, the work environment, and my job. I will leave a review at my 90-day mark for an update. I'm hoping to still be as enthusiastic at that point.
