I had a call with a recruiter and then a call with the hiring manager before being asked to complete an extensive edit test. I did, even though it was time-consuming and unpaid (and I was freelancing at the time, so was actively missing out on income to do it within their timeframe). I heard nothing back. When I got an offer from another company a couple of weeks later, I followed up. Again, no response. Even an automated rejection would be preferable!
One of the most unprofessional interview processes I have ever taken part in. This company needs to have better communication and decency with their applicants. I was ghosted after three interviews and a test.
